EIT Manufacturing South partners with 4e 2026 in Padua

On Friday 30 October 2026, the Aula Magna of Palazzo del Bo in Padua will host 4e, the free public event organised by Jacobacci & Partners. EIT Manufacturing South is taking part as a partner.

4e grew out of the Think Tank 4T, Italy’s leading event on technology transfer. It is a day of networking and discussion on technology and innovation, aimed at companies, startups, incubators and accelerators, universities, institutions, banks and venture capital investors.

This year’s theme is “Tech-volution: when innovation transforms everyday life”. It looks at how what is developed in factories and research labs makes its way into daily life.

The programme

The morning is moderated by Maria Gaia Fusilli (ItalyPost). It features talks and panel discussions with managers from companies including Officina Stellare, Fas International, Lafert, DiaSorin and Chiesi. Next is the Gallery Walk Live, a pitch battle in which 10 startups selected by the event partners each have three minutes to present. The audience votes live, and the winner is announced at the end of the day.

The afternoon is split into three parallel round tables:

• Aerospace and dual-use technology
• Robotics
• Material revolution

Each table brings together a moderator and speakers from sector companies. Discussion among participants is structured using the Phillips method. Attendees choose their table when they register.
