Official information is available on the MIMIT website: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mimit.gov.it\/it\/incentivi\/scoperta-imprenditoriale-2026\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Entrepreneurial Discovery II (2026) \u2013 MIMIT<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The call is open to companies of all sizes, research centres and collaborative partnerships willing to develop research and innovation activities in Southern Italy. Eligible projects must have a total value ranging from <strong>\u20ac1 million to \u20ac5 million<\/strong>, last between <strong>18 and 36 months<\/strong>, and be developed through collaborative partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The funding scheme combines <strong>soft loans and non-repayable grants<\/strong>, with a strong focus on SMEs. In fact, <strong>60% of the available budget is reserved for SMEs and business networks<\/strong>, while an additional share is specifically allocated to micro and small enterprises. Eligible technological areas include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Artificial intelligence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digital technologies and cybersecurity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advanced manufacturing systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advanced materials and nanotechnology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Photonics and microelectronics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Life sciences<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications will open on <strong>7 October 2026<\/strong>, while the online platform for completing the application process will become available on <strong>24 September 2026<\/strong>.
